We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance to ensure availability and give us time to prepare your personalized keepsake plaque. However, we understand that babies arrive on their own schedule! We offer same-day delivery when available for a small rush fee. Just give us a call, and we'll do our best to accommodate your celebration.
Absolutely! If you're planning a baby shower, gender reveal, or know your due date, you can book weeks in advance. We'll reserve your preferred date and package. This is especially helpful for event planning and ensuring everything is perfect for your special day.
We completely understand that plans change, especially with newborns! You can reschedule your delivery date at no charge with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before delivery receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee since we've already prepared your personalized materials.
No! That's the beauty of our full-service rental. You don't need to be home for either delivery or pickup. Just provide us with any access instructions (gate codes, preferred placement area, etc.) and we'll handle everything. We'll send you photos once the sign is installed so you can see how beautiful it looks!
We'll need baby's full name, birth date, birth weight, and birth length. You can also include any special messages or details you'd like on the keepsake plaque. If you're booking for a baby shower or event before baby arrives, you can provide these details later—just let us know when you book.
Yes! We offer adorable add-on star signs for siblings ($15 each) and special pet announcement signs ($20). These are a wonderful way to include the whole family in the celebration. Just let us know the names when you book, and we'll make sure everyone is represented!
No problem! For baby showers, gender reveals, or if you're booking before baby arrives, we can set up the stork with a general message and create the personalized keepsake once you have all the details. We're flexible and will work with your timeline.
Our stork signs are made from weather-resistant materials and can withstand normal rain, wind, and sun. However, in cases of severe weather (heavy storms, high winds over 40mph, or extreme conditions), we may need to temporarily remove the sign for safety. We'll coordinate with you and extend your rental period to make up for any time the sign was down. Your safety and the sign's integrity are our top priorities!
We'll place the sign in the most visible spot in your front yard for maximum curb appeal and photo opportunities—typically near the front walkway or driveway. If you have a preferred location, just let us know! We'll also avoid sprinkler systems, pet areas, or any spots you specify. Our goal is to make it look picture-perfect while respecting your property.
Just let us know about any sprinkler systems, underground utilities, or sensitive areas when you book. Our installation uses shallow stakes that won't damage underground systems, and we're always careful about placement. You can also mark specific areas to avoid, or we can work together to find the perfect safe spot.
Yes! While most signs go in front yards, we can also set up at baby shower venues, event spaces, or other locations. For apartment or condo residents, we can sometimes place signs in designated common areas (with property management approval). Contact us to discuss your specific situation—we're creative problem solvers!
We recommend checking your HOA rules before booking. Many HOAs make exceptions for temporary celebration signs, especially birth announcements. If your HOA doesn't allow yard signs, consider having the stork delivered to grandparents' home, a friend's house, or your baby shower venue instead. We're happy to work with you to find a solution!
We cannot place signs on public property, in rights-of-way, or in areas where they would obstruct traffic visibility or violate local ordinances. We also respect private property rules and HOA regulations. During booking, we'll confirm that your desired location is appropriate and legal for sign placement.
We serve the greater metro area and surrounding suburbs. Delivery, setup, and pickup are included in all package prices within our core service area. For locations outside our standard area, we may charge a small travel fee ($15-$30) depending on distance. Check our Service Area page for the full list of covered cities, or contact us to confirm your address.
We offer flexible delivery and pickup times, including evenings and weekends. We'll coordinate a time window that works best for your schedule. We typically deliver in the morning or early afternoon so you can enjoy the sign all day, but we're happy to accommodate special timing requests. We'll call or text 30 minutes before arrival.
Yes! If you're loving the stork and want to keep it longer, just let us know before your scheduled pickup date. Extensions are $15 per additional day, subject to availability. We're happy to extend your celebration as long as you'd like!
Everything! Your rental includes the premium stork sign, full-service delivery and professional installation, pickup at the end of your rental period, and a personalized keepsake plaque that's yours to keep forever. There are no hidden fees within our core service area. The only additional costs would be optional add-ons (like sibling stars or custom banners) or travel fees for extended service areas.
Absolutely! Our signs are professionally designed and installed with safety in mind. They're securely staked into the ground and built to withstand normal weather conditions. All materials are weather-resistant and safe for outdoor use. We're fully insured and take every precaution to ensure safe installation and display.
While theft and damage are rare, we understand these things can happen. Normal wear and tear from weather is expected and covered. If the sign is stolen or vandalized, please file a police report and notify us immediately. We'll work with you on a case-by-case basis. We do ask that you take reasonable care of the sign during your rental period and notify us of any issues right away.
Yes! We carry full liability insurance for all our installations and services. Your peace of mind is important to us, and we take every precaution to protect both our customers and their property.
Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. Your booking is confirmed once payment is processed, and we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details.
Yes! Stork rentals make wonderful gifts for new parents or grandparents. When booking, just indicate that it's a gift and provide the recipient's delivery address. We can coordinate the surprise delivery and even include a gift message. Our Grandparent Gift Package is especially popular for this!
